        In a short time, Daevid Mendivil has lived many lives in many places. Experiencing an international upbringing has shaped this young artist's view of the world to be multi-dimensional, and him to be open to different ways of experiencing life and art.

         As a young boy Daevid always had an interest in the arts. Drawing while at school, playing the piano at home and getting his hands on anything artistic as much as he could, he developed the ability to discover and develop his various  talents. This curiosity led him discover his interest and sensitivity for dance.

        After only one year of formal ballet training in Jacqueline's School of Ballet in
Orem Utah, Daevid moved to New York City in 2007, and studied the French curriculum
at Studio Maestro (now Manhattan Youth Ballet) under the direction and mentoring of Francois Perron. There he also trained with  Marina Stavitskaya, Nadege Hottier & Deborah Wingert. He has attended  summer intensives with American Ballet Theater, Boston Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater,
and most recently The Bolshoi Academy. As a supplement to his ballet technique training, Daevid studies Jazz from Stephen Harding. All of Daevid's training has been under a full-scholarship.

        He has performed works by George Balanchine, Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Francois Perron, Brice Mousset, Laszlo Berdo, Avi Scher and Christopher Liddell to name a few, and has had the privilege to work with companies such as Utah Regional Ballet (UT), Urban Ballet Theater (NY), Northstar Ballet (AK),
The Eglevsky Ballet (LI), Les Ballets Grandiva (NY), and  Men-On-Pointe (NY).
